History
W. Day House and Farm
- 1890: Originally property of the Beall family, James Wilkerson Day (who had married the Beall's daughter Sarah) built the present house on the site of an earlier house that had burned
- 1912: Nephews Barry and Leslie Beall moved to the farm
- 1920: Dairying operation began
- Representative of early twentieth century dairy farming
- Listed in the Locational Atlas of Historic Sites
- The farm buildings can be viewed from Clarksburg Road but the farmhouse is currently a private residence
